Dear friends,
I am now at the Edinburgh airport waiting for the start of my journey to Rwanda -- I should arrive there Saturday afternoon.

My time in Edinburgh with Katie Brousseau went very well. I was able to share some community engagement ideas with the Almond Vineyard church leaders and a message on Sunday morning about the Father's Heart for the Poor.

Imagine my surprise when Pr. Celso Taveres from Belo Horizonte was in the service!

I spent a couple of days on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne -- a great place to rest and get ready for Rwanda. It is an old Celtic site with a real castle and ruins of a church. Thay also make pretty good lattes!

I saw an interesting quote in a book there:
"The church exists by mission , as fire exists by burning." (Emil Brunner)
